Mexico Tipico is located at the Lewiston Mall where East Ave meets Lisbon Street. Mexico Tipico is owned by the Moreno family who are from a small town near Guadalajara, Mexico. Mexico Tipico is the Morenos' fifth restaurant. The others are called Mexico Lindo. Mexico Tipico, like Mexico Lindo, is family run and cook fresh dishes from recipes that are passed down generation to generation, taking hours to prepare. Mexico Tipico serves authentic homemade tamales, homemade chile rellenos, fajitas, mole poblano, arroz con pollo and much, much more.

Mexico Tipico's setting is bright and cheerful. It is expansive and fits gatherings of any size. There are two large TV screens so you can keep your eye on your favorite sports. The bar is beautiful with comfortable seats and deep mahogany wood. Enjoy frozen margaritas, Dos Equis XX Draft, Corona Modelo, Negra Modelo, just to name a few.
